This video well illustrates the point that it is our very nature to be evil. He offers loads of scripture to back his claims. Don’t give up on it too early; hang in there, it ends with a presentation of the Gospel. They give you all of the bad news first, but the good news is in there.

Although I agree with the message of Jesus that comes in at the end, I have a big problem with the beginning. We are created in the image of God and are therefore inherently good and pure. Sin came in and infected us after we were made in perfection. I think it is wrong to deprecate ourselves to the extent in this video – we should give ourselves more credit, because we are made in the image of God. Jesus’ death did not elevate us to a state that we were never intended to reach, He redeemed us into what we were created to be: righteous and pure.
I think you’re both saying the same thing, essentially. Our natural born state is to inherit the sin nature of Adam. Left on our own, we are in opposition of God and His Law. Jesus redeems us to our orininal estate, and at his appearing we will receive a glorified body like he has now. We are created in God’s image, and even in our sinful state the Holy Spirit draws us toward God. The God we can only come to by Jesus Christ. The video uses strong language to shock some people back to this truth. There are plenty of people who think we can just keep getting better on our own until we are good enough to please God.
