I first thought this was a parody, then I really hoped it was a parody. But no, this is a real product. You can cover your flute, saxophone, oboe and more. Click here to visit McCormick’s Instrument Covers and “hold the germs, not the sound.”

So after our daughter fell through her bedroom wall (she blames the dog for tripping her) these are the pieces that broke out. Her walls form a 360 degree panoramic mural jungle scene complete with trees, monkeys, large cats, birds and other animals. The doors and even the ceiling are incorporated into the design. So repairing damage to these walls becomes a little complicated.

The wall is patched and the original base color has been applied. My work is finished. The artists, i.e. Johannah and her “Aunt Pamela,” can begin repainting the menagerie any time.

Freddie Freeman scored his 1,500th career hit within a week of hitting his first and second grand slam home runs. His 1,500th hit was the same night the Braves beat the Marlins with a final score of 29 – 9, setting a new single game record in the National League and just one run shy of the MLB record of 30 runs (set by the Texas Rangers in 2007). This may be a short season but it is a great time to be a Braves fan!

Locusts are packed with protein and the only Kosher insect mentioned in scripture. Like the flute cover, this too is a real product. Click here to learn more… or place an order. Whatever floats your boat.

Gender reveal announcements are all the rage these days and the trend has been toward bigger = better. A gender reveal pyrotechnic device was responsible for sparking a wildfire in California that has so far spread to over 10,000 acres and forced 20,000 evacuations. A grandmother was recently killed when amateur engineers inadvertently built a pipe bomb as part of a gender reveal. Maybe just throw some confetti or something.

Ronald Khalis Bell, founding member of Kool & the Gang, passed away this week at the age of 68. He wrote or co-wrote many of the groups most recognizable songs including Celebration.

And finally this week…

The Master’s Table congratulates Dudley Morris and Brittany Mulkey and wishes them all the best as they get married later today. You don’t need a certain number of friends, you need a number of friends you can be certain of. I’ve been blessed with a short list of real friends and these two are on it.
