For the past several months we’ve been going through the Internet Monk Radio archives and re-sharing those episodes. Each time Michael Spencer mentions another blog or podcast I try to find that and see if it still exists. Many times they do not. I often find websites that have not been updated in years. When he shares a resource that is still operating I try to point those out and include a link in my post.
Steve Brown interviewed the Internet Monk and had him on as a guest a time or two. Those posts, now over a decade old, are no longer archived by Key Life. But Steve Brown, Etc. is still on the air to this day. Steve is the founder of Key Life Network which airs syndicated radio programs across the nation on broadcast radio. The easiest way for any one using the internet (such as yourself) to find Steve is online via the Key Life website.
Steve Brown has a resonating barrone voice that serves him well on radio. The latest episode, at the time I am writing, is an interview with Philip Yancey about his memoir. It’s been a few years since I read a book by Yancey – The Jesus I Never Knew and What’s So Amazing About Grace? were popular titles back then. As a young adult in a college and career Sunday School class, we went through a 6 or 10 week study on both of those, probably on VHS tape. This interview on his memoir is not about what he believes, it’s about him and his personal story. You can listen to the radio program or watch on YouTube. Use this link and, if you’ve never noticed, Steve Brown is listed in the blogroll on the right-hand sidebar.
