As the summer games wind down, the United States may bring home the most medals since the epic 1984 Olympics in Los Angles. The US is projected to win 124 total medals but the race for gold is still a toss up between the US and China (as I write this on Friday evening). Here’s a recap of how the US has done over the last 40 years:
The medals are designated gold, silver and bronze but that is not exactly what they are made of. Each of the medals in Paris contain a center section of iron from the Eiffel Tower. The composition of the rest of the medal is something like this:
Okay, want to hear about something other than the Olympics?
I do not recognize their authority in this matter. First off, sometimes hot dogs are offered and the only options are ketchup and mustard. If so I will take a squirt of each. Chili is listed here as an acceptable topic but coleslaw is nowhere in sight. I like a good chili slawdog and sometimes those get kind of sloppy and need to be eaten with utensils. Hot dogs do not need their own HOA.
“Real Mexican food comes from California.” Hmm, that would not have been my first guess.
Does this bother anyone? There is not anything missing from that pack. It’s an 8 pack of gum but the designers chose to make two rows of three and have two in the third row, instead of two rows of four. It gives the product more “front” and it’s all about shelf position and presentation. It’s a Value Pack not a good mental health pack. I will not buy this product.
Google was asking me if I was interested or not interested in that type of story. It looks to me like Shatner is labeled interested in the pic on the left and not interested on the right. It’s not just me, right?
Can you spot 5 differences? In the interest of full disclosure I have only found three. I believe this is the most difficult one yet, your results may vary. Btw, these are a promotion for Discount Tire that’s been going on for at least the past year.
