Even if you can’t see the stereogram that makes some beautiful coffee bean wallpaper. There is an image there and this one’s pretty easy. In my experience, I can almost never see these on my phone. I’m an old guy and still begin each day on my laptop.

Good morning math fans. Here’s the deal: the person who posted this, at least when I saw it this week, did not give the solution. Most people commenting said 2. What they did was add 5 to 5 then divide by 5. My issue with that, however, is why are you adding before doing the division? Go ahead and eliminate one of the √(25) on top and the one on the bottom and you left to solve square root of 25 which is 5. Even if you solve the square roots first you get 5 + 5 over 5 so cancel two fives and you are left with a solution of 5. What do you think, is the answer 5 or 2?

The blue states in this image are the ones that have lighthouses. What left in yellow are the states in the US that are totally landlocked and do not have at least one light house.

Mods by Google Street View – The Google Street View car was moving in the opposite direction and met this car on the road, resulting in this composite. There is only one door handle and no seam so that must be one long door. The 360 degree viewable images in Street View are formed by compositing multiple images taken by the Street View car while it is moving and works great for objects that are sitting still, like buildings.

I discovered this image myself – thank you – as this happens to be right in front of my house.

“Judge not lest ye be judged” is one of the best known statements in all of scripture, quoted by people that sometimes don’t know a single other verse in the whole Bible. Jesus also said “Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” (John 7:24) Read through those first verses of Matthew 7. It is not a strict pronouncement against judgement but is about discernment. We are taught in scripture to examine ourselves carefully and we do need to be able to discern good from evil, not so we can pass judgement but so we can each guard ourselves.

Like a bull in a photo op – I’m not sure what the whole story is behind this pic but there has to be a lesson in there about careful planning. People don’t plan to fail, they just fail to plan.

Every cloud has a silver living.
