Happy Monday

Some people get really messed up by the time change, spring and fall. I guess if you’re tired when you go to bed and tired when you get up, every day, then the time change doesn’t make much difference. Our advice is drink coffee and read Happy Monday, not necessarily in the order.

This is Happy Monday #607

  1. There are three things in this post that merit further discussion; maybe not on Monday. Get through the day, God’s grace is sufficient, we’ll talk about it tomorrow.

    1. The Ephesians 2:8-9 comes from (the Bible). That’s from a website that acknowledges the KJV as the Bible and does not recognize any other version or transition as scripture.
    2. I don’t watch, listen to or read Steven Furtick because of his questionable theology but there is nothing wrong with that particular quote. Paul said I press toward the mark and the prize so Furtick’s sentiment seems to be “hang in there; finish the race you started.” So I’m okay with it.
    3. “Hold my beer” is an idiom that indicates “oh yeah, watch this.” I don’t drink beer, as a general role Baptists do not consume alcohol, but that He-Man comic is hilarious. If it makes you uncomfortable, let the Methodists laugh at it and move on.

Van Til is a good boy and he’s doing a great job!

Edit: I wrote a numbered list but when I posted the comments the three points turned into letters. Weird.
