Christmas is next week, but of course Happy Monday is about getting you through the week at hand. By now you’ve probably sung a cantata, watched a kids’ pageant, or visited a live nativity. If not, you likely have another week of rehearsal to go. In between baking cookies and licking envelopes, take time to think about the greatest gift and (hopefully) realize it’s all worth it. Here’s what I’m thinking: we all need Happy Monday more than usual this week. Maybe the turkey wasn’t the only thing stuffed Thursday afternoon, and then some of us didn’t even wait ’till Friday for Black Friday. Maybe you had a marathon decorating session after driving and or flying thousands of miles. If you have been off work for the past 5 days or more, this morning is more Monday than usual. Despite the holiday, it’s still gonna be Monday. So here’s your weekly dose of inspiration and smiles. Have a Happy Monday!
It’s Monday, time for that thing we do. You know, a few scriptures, couple of quotes, maybe a funny cartoon. Or two. Sometimes we have cute animals, on occasion a pic or two I took myself. Monday’s are tough, we get that, and The Master’s Table is here to help. In our own, quirky little way. So smile, and have a Happy Monday.
Monday’s are tough. You’ve slept in, watched football and been to church. Some of us had a nap – or two- over the course of the weekend. Before you put your nose back to the grindstone, share a smile with us here at the Master’s Table. Laughter does the heart good like a medicine; try not to take too much.
I had a nasty, stomach bug sort of weekend myself. Here’s to everyone that has to be up and and dressed today.
