Happy Monday

Some people do not think Happy Memorial Day is an appropriate statement. While I get it, that’s the social convention for how we recognize holidays in the United States. Others are very particular about the specific purpose of Memorial Day and how it should not be confused with Veterans Day or other patriotic holidays. We at The Master’s Table take a pragmatic approach to most things; live and let live, whatever makes you happy (within reason). Pictured above is Clark Bunch visiting his father’s grave at the Georgia National Cemetery near Canton. Memorial Day is not just an excuse to grill out; but his father, and grandfather who fought in Europe during WWII, enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the lake or around the grill as much as the next guy. Thank God for all the blessings you enjoy, however much or little that seems to be. Enjoy your three day weekend, if you get one of those. And I will say have a Happy Monday!

Happy Monday

So if you read the Satur-deja Vu over the weekend maybe you were also expecting Happy Monday! Truth be told it may take some folks a few weeks to notice there is new content on what they thought was a dead blog. This post may not strictly conform to the rigid template that the Monday posts used to; maybe we’ll get there and maybe not. But anything we do this week will be better than what we published last week, right? I’m a water bowl half full kind of dog so let’s get on with it.
