We missed a deja vu post but these celebrity deaths are just in the past week. Chuck Mangione passed this week as well, someone will mention it if I don’t. So far in the first half of 2025 we have also lost Bob Uecker, Gene Hackman, Roberta Flack, George Foreman, Val Kilmer, Ruth Buzzi, George Wendt, Phil Robertson, Sly Stone, Brian Wilson, Connie Francis and Pope Francis (no relation on those last two). There have been others but those are the names I would expect most people to recognize. You may not recognize the name Martha Knighton but chances are you have seen her before in something.

Still Need a Title
Hindsight is 20/20, Doubletake, Week in Review, It Happened This Week… Help me out here blog readers. Pick one of these or suggest a better title. I’m serious, please throw me a line here. Saturday/ review? rewind? flashback? flashdance? At any rate it has been a full week in the real life of Clark Bunch. Here are the highlights.
Dudley Morris is an old college friend that I work with a couple of days each week. If you listen to the Unity sermons you’ve probably heard me mention his name. He is a vision rehab therapist. Pictured with Dudley is Martha Knighton. She is an actress that you may have seen on screen or in print ads over the past 30 or 40 years. She appeared in The Internship and shared a scene with David Spade in the Netflix film The Do-Over. She will appear in a new project this fall that I don’t know if I can talk about yet; but after it airs I will link back to this post and say “That’s what I was (not) talking about!” We had the chance to visit her in her home near Atlanta on Monday and take her to her favorite restaurant… Burger King.
