Exactly Similar – That describes when two things are the same only different. This week’s lead in is once again the weather but this time we’re talking about snow in the South and not a crippling ice storm. Athens could see 4 – 5 inches. Where I live, closer to Alabama, will gets bands of snow. There could be 1/2 inch or none at all, while locations nearby could see 1 to 2 inches. Then it will turn cold. Atlanta will stay below freezing from Saturday morning into Monday afternoon.

Super Bowl LX will be played on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game will feature a rematch between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. I used to say the Super Bowl offers something for everyone; if you are not a sports fan, or an NFL fan in particular, there would also be a slew of new big budget commercials and a spread of food at most Super Bowl parties. By the time the Super Bowl airs, most of the commercials will have already been rolled out online. Even the biggest live sporting event of the year is not as “appointment television” as it used to be.

I’ve been a little under the weather, no pun intended, for a few days. Pray for me as our church meets today. We took last week off due to weather and although it will be very cold today there is no snow or ice on the ground and our folks have elected to meet together.
