Yep, here we are again. The weekend is over and it’s gonna be Monday all day. If you need a few scripture quotes and words of inspiration, we have you covered. If cute animals, cartoons, comics, funny stories and pics of coffee get you out the door then you’ve come to the right place.
If you’re a Seahawks fan…
well there’s always next year.
We interrupt Happy Monday to ask your opinion. Is this clever marketing or a little offensive? (OMG is texting shorthand for “Oh my God.”)
Hey blog fans, you may have noticed a new feature in the left-hand sidebar. The Bible Gateway Verse of the Day has been appearing for the past six months or so. Our Daily Bread rolled out a new look on their website last week which includes a daily “shareable image.” Clicking that icon in the sidebar will take you directly to today’s devotional at ODB.org. All part of the friendly service here at The Master’s Table. Have a Happy Monday!

Regarding OMG .. I personally don’t like it when it’s used so frequently and frivolously … There are legitimate times when a person may really be referring to God when they say Oh My God…. in an honest expression of shock etc. but the frequent use of OMG by everyone for every kind of circumstance I don’t really think is honoring to God…. And to market it, is not appropriate to me anyway…..Diane
Hey friends, this “public service announcement” would have been in the regular post if I hadn’t… I mean if Van Til hadn’t forgotten about it.
Thank you Diane for a response. Sometimes I feel like I’m just talking to myself here.
Instead of wasting your energy on being offended, it could also mean …Oh My Goodness, which in this case would make way more sense. 🙂 And yes, I realize this post is 6 years old…lol.
